At the moment he has different roles as President Elect European Society for Gynaecologic Endoscopy (ESGE), Member of the Executive Board of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and Member of the Italian Society of Gynaecologic Oncology.

In 1982 Fabio Parazzini obtained the degree in Medicine and Surgery at University of Milan.
He got a scholarship from the Italian Associaton of Medical Oncology (AIOM) Paolo Campadelli, studying Clinical Gynaecological Tumors. In 1989 he became Specialist Doctor in charge for Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Local Health Authority.
Currently Parazzini is a researcher, adjunct Professor and Associate Porfessor of the Department of Clinic and Community Science, University of Milan. His fields of interest are Epidemiology, mainly Obstetrics and Gynaecology and methodology of clinical trials. He wrote in indexed international journals, talking at more than 400 national and international meetings.

Since 2018 he is an Honorary member of the British Society of Gynecological endoscopy. He has performed more than 15000 gynecological operations for both benign and malignant gynecological diseases. He has authored more then 400 peer-reviewed scientific papers and chapters. He is a worldwide recognized leader in the field of mini- and micro-laparoscopy in gynecology and gynecological oncology.

Massimo Pergiuseppe Franchi, 1955, is currently the director of the “Unità Operativa complessa di Gineco-logia e Ostetricia AOIUI” of Verona, Italy. Franchi served as National president of the Italian Society of Gynecological Oncology (2009-2012) and as adviser of the Italian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (2016-2019). He did Over 8000 major gynecological-obstetric interventions as first operator of which over 3000 major interventions for neoplastic pathology. Expert in over 120 medico-legal cases on issues of obstetric-gynecological professional responsibility.
Franchi is also the author of more than 500 articles published in National and International Journals.
