Dr. Vizza is M.D., Ph.D. and Professor, Chief of the Dept of Gynaecologic Oncology at the National Cancer Institute of Rome “Regina Elena”, Director of the Ovarian Tissue & Germinal Cells Cryo-Bank. National Se-cretary of Italian Society of Obstetrics and Gyneacology (SIGO), elected President of Italian Society of Gy-neacologic Endoscopy (SEGI).
Author of more than 1000 scientific publications in International and National Journals, Giovanni Scambia is full Professor of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Catholic University of Rome, Italy and also the Scientific Director of Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli (IRCCS).
From 2016 to 2019 Scambia was President of Italian Society of Obstetrics and Gyneaecology (SIGO).
At the moment he has different roles as President Elect European Society for Gynaecologic Endoscopy (ESGE), Member of the Executive Board of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and Member of the Italian Society of Gynaecologic Oncology.
In 1982 Fabio Parazzini obtained the degree in Medicine and Surgery at University of Milan.
He got a scholarship from the Italian Associaton of Medical Oncology (AIOM) Paolo Campadelli, studying Clinical Gynaecological Tumors. In 1989 he became Specialist Doctor in charge for Obstetrics and Gynaeco-logy at the Local Health Authority.
Currently Parazzini is a researcher, adjunct Professor and Associate Porfessor of the Department of Clinic and Community Science, University of Milan. His fields of interest are Epidemiology, mainly Obstetrics and Gynaecology and methodology of clinical trials. He wrote in indexed international journals, talking at more than 400 national and internetional meetings.
Fabio Ghezzi is professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the Ob/Gyn Department at the Women’s and Children Hospital, University of Insubria, Varese, Italy. He is the Director of the Ob/Gyn Residency Program at the University of Insubria and adjunct Professor at the University of Wien. Since 2018 he is an Honorary member of the British Society of Gynecological endoscopy. He has performed more than 15000 gynecological operations for both benign and malignant gynecological diseases. He has authored more then 400 peer-reviewed scientific papers and chapters. He is a worldwide recognized leader in the field of mini- and micro-laparoscopy in gynecology and gynecological oncology.
Massimo Pergiuseppe Franchi, 1955, is currently the director of the “Unità Operativa complessa di Gineco-logia e Ostetricia AOIUI” of Verona, Italy. Franchi served as National president of the Italian Society of Gy-necological Oncology (2009-2012) and as adviser of the Italian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (2016-2019). He did Over 8000 major gynecological-obstetric interventions as first operator of which over 3000 major interventions for neoplastic pathology. Expert in over 120 medico-legal cases on issues of obstetric-gynecological professional responsibility.
Franchi is also the author of more than 500 articles published in National and International Journals.
Antonio Simone Laganà
Medical Doctor at the Department of Obstetric and Gynaecology, “Filippo del Ponte” Hospital (University of Insubria, Varese, Italy). Deputy of the Special Interest Group for Endometriosis & Endometrial Disor-ders (SIGEED) of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and Ambassador of the World Endometriosis Society (WES); Member of the International Society of Gynecological Endocri-nology (ISGE). Author of more than 180 papers published in international journals, about endometriosis, reproductive immunology, infertility, gynaecological endocrinology, laparoscopy, and hysteroscopy.
